James Taylor Concert --

Last Monday evening, my friend (and former piano student) Sylvia, called me with a "last-minute invitation" to the James Taylor concert at the coliseum here in Knoxville. Of course, I said "Yes"! Ninety minutes later we were safely anchored in our seats and the concert began. Phenomenal! I hadn't seen JT in concert in I-don't-know-how-many years. He looks the same; he moves the same way; he sings and plays the same way, except smoother, and with more grace than before. This man is ageless, timeless, and so is his music; absolutely evergreen. There were people of every age range in the packed audience. That, in itself, was thrilling to realize. He did all the well-known songs of his repertoire, plus four or five others. What a wonderful, awesome evening! Thank you, Sylvia. Thank you, James.
